Now imagine that I REALLY caught a cutie like this. I definitely could not throw her back in the water. Don't you think this little sweetie needed a little love. I was looking through my images, and I thought that I hadn't seen nearly enough of her, so I wanted to put her in center stage today!
I have to admit, I really was at a loss for a layout for this card, my mind has been so frazzled this week. Have you ever noticed that you start to go "blank" sometimes when it comes to layout ideas? I have that happen every now and then. It's like I want something a little different than the usual, and the more I try, the worse the mental block happens. ha ha...
Alright, I'm going to just stop my rambling, and show you The Catch Of The Day!!!
You know what I just noticed? The pink and red colors in my flower doesn't exactly match the pink and red paper on the card... ha ha.... Noooooooo that's not true, in REAL LIFE, those papers are the SAME color, so go figure, it shows different in the picture.... OHHH MY! I guess you'll have to pretend you don't notice it. ha ha....
So anyway, I colored this little cutie patootie with copics, and of course used my trusty little black Stampin' Up marker to draw my own faux stitching on the card. The edges of the papers were tinted with distress inks, and to add a little touch of texture and shine, I used Glossy accents. I added some dew drops and a computer generated sentiment that just sort of popped into my head.
So there you have it! Wishing you all a SUPERIFIC DAY! =)
