The Games We Play

Happy Monday!  Today I have a card to share with you.  I just couldn't resist using "Pat-A-Cake" from Elisabeth Bells Digital Gallery.  These are such typical games we play with little ones, and it brings back many memories for me.  I used to play this with my sisters when I was a little girl, and of course I played it again when I became a mother.  I guess it won't be long, and I will be playing this game again. 

I really wanted something bright and cheery, and full of spring time color.

I kept the layout quite simple, and because of the scallopy edge punch by Martha Stewart, I really didn't need to do that much embellishing.  I colored my image with Copics, and I've also used a little bit of heat embossing around the edges of the yellow paper.  The rest really is simple shapes.
