May Your Day Be Special

Hi everyone,

I hope your weekend is starting off grrreat. I created this fun and girly card recently using the Ginnie, Gliding with Butterflies digi stamp. Isn't she pretty?! I just luv her fab outfit. Be sure to drop by Elisabeth's digi collection to check out all of her other beautiful digi stamps.

I've also decorated the inside and created a matching box envelope to go with this card.
Details for this card can be found here.

I've had such a fab time being Guest DT for the last 2 months. Thank you Elisabeth for inviting me to be a part of such a fab and talented DT. I've had lots of fun creating with your beautiful digi stamps. I look forward to working with you and the DT in the near future. Thx for everything and all the inspiration. You ladies rock!

I'm of to created more cards. I hope you all have a fab weekend. Happy crafting!!
xoxo,

Gliding by to say....You Made My Day

Happy Happy Thursday....
Are you all enjoying what's left of the summer?  I know that many kids have already returned to school, and when that happens, it usually means that Autumn is on it's way.  I am still technically on my "Summer Vacation"...  Working at a school, I dread those first few days of returning after some time off....

I thought that I would share a fun card that I made using "Ginnie Gliding with Butterflies"... It's my last ditch effort of trying to keep those "Summertime" things going just a little bit longer.  Oh how I dread not getting a chance to "be lazy" around the house, and going outside and doing fun things during the day.....  Sooooo here we go.....  I wish I could be Ginnie!!

I can not tell how badly I've been wanting to use this paper, and I just couldn't resist using it with this absolutely GORGEOUS image.  This is one of the papers from Basic Gray's "Origins" paper pads.  And do you notice Ginnie's dress?  I paper pieced with another piece of Basic Gray's paper from that same pad.  If you notice, I colored Ginnie a little differently than I normally would, only because I wanted her to be in those same muted tones as the background paper that I was using.  I really like the outcome of this card.

Here is a closer view of "Ginnie"
The flowers are punched from matching paper, and the craft colored part was actually Distress ink dyed with "tea stain".

Thanks for stopping by, it won't be long now and you'll all have a sneaky peeky at what Elisabeth has been designing for this months release.  And OHHHHH Believe me.... You're going to be head over heels in love with it.....  Are you in suspense yet???

Thanks for stopping in today....  Stay tuned because it won't be long now.....
