On Cupid's Cloud

Hi there!  This is Rose showing a side open card that displays Elisabeth Bell's digital image called On Cupid's Cloud. This stunning little angel, showing a touch of the crack of his cute bottom as he sits on a sweet heart-shaped cloud, was released by Elisabeth Bell in February of this year. While this digi image surely portrays lots of love through the included roses and hearts, I thought I'd use him to show loving support to our 2012 Olympic athletes.  I fussy cut a flag sticker from an old promotional union mailer and stuck it to the fishing line in hopes that it would appear as though my little Cupid was dropping some roses to our USA teams.  Go team!!!

I've used Copic colors to fill this sweet image . . .

You can find more information on the products used at my blog post here.

Here's a view of my completed card front showing my use of Elisabeth Bell's On Cupid's Cloud digital image . . .

You can find On Cupid's Cloud and more of Elisabeth's amazing digital images by visiting the Elisabeth Bell Digital Collection at her gallery here.

Here's wishing you a fabulous day!

Fishing for Love....

I have to admit - I have done something I'm not allowed to do and I have to take the opportunity to set things right! For the release of cutie Cupid I made a card coloring with a "no lines technique" and that is totally fun BUT in my eager to make a inspiring creation for you I thought that Elisabeth's signature was visible on my card and it was not... If you would like to use the no lines-technique you need to make sure that Elisabeth's signature is visible on your image and that also goes for when you cut out your image.

So I have made another card featuring "On Cupid's Cloud" - the image is found in Elisabeth's Digital Gallery.

Here it is.... (Sorry about the shades in the pic...)

You can read more about the card in my blog.

New February Hop Challenge Today!!

Hello Elisabeth Bell fans!!!

We have the NEW FEBRUARY Digi to share with you today!!
The projects using this new little sweetie are stunning!!

Please help us welcome...
"On Cupid's Cloud"
to the Elisabeth Bell Digi Collection.

A few fun words from Elisabeth about this sweet little digi:

Even though our blog hop and release will be after Valentine's Day, since this month is the month of Valentine any way, I decided to draw something that was all about hearts and love. The idea of Cupid, sitting on a heart cloud, came to my mind. But instead of him aiming his bow and heart arrow at some poor, unsuspecting victim, I decided to take a different, more gentle, "outside of the box," approach. So instead of shooting his bow, he is using it as a fishing pole (lol!), and dangling from the string are roses and keys! His quiver is filled with more roses, and his heart arrows are stuck in the cloud either side of him. We can see his little, "plumber's crack," (the cute factor) as he sits in the dip of the heart cloud. And his cloth toga (that he obviously doesn't care to wear haha) drapes loosely over his legs and the clouds. On the far side of the cloud, we can also see a collection of more keys and hearts, and a few more roses resting beside him. Cupid is set with his arsenal of roses and keys to unlock the hearts of those in need of love!
