A storybook card...
Good morning all of my cyber friends... Today I have a another many folders card to show you! I had a blast making this one!! But I think that it just may be to much! LOL.. Please let me know what you think.. It was a tad hard to pick papers and such for these beautiful images done this way. Do you think that Edwin has found a NEW Princess?? LOL.....
I hope that Tilda is not off crying somewhere.
Okay I was coloring one day a had just finished cutting the windows out of the Romantic Window and just laid it a side and when I went to pick it back up I noticed that I had laid it right on top of the My Prince image and I thought ohhhhhhhhhh now just how cute is that!! So I went with it. But then of course I just had to add Edwin!! LOL..... I have used #165 Prince Edwin and #532 Romantic Window Both stamps available at Magnolia-licious Then behind that beautiful Magnolia window I have used My Prince from the Elisabeth Bell Digtial Collection.
As you can see on the first layer is where I have all of the images and I have added an awning over the top of the window for the 3-d effect. I used one of my MS punchs for the edge. I have colored all images with my copic markers and used Ranger Inks on the edges of the layers. I have added Spica and stickles to make my image sparkle in some places. Now let's talk about layers and layers and more layers!!! I have used Prima Inc papers along with Graphic 45, Reminisce, October Afternoon and Bazzill cardstocks. As for embellies I have only used brass brads and 2 photo corners and a little locket and key. Now if you go back up and look at the first picture you will see that I have the photo corners holding my first layer closed. On the back side of that image layer I have a stamp the says. Once in a while, right in the middle of an ordinary life LOVE gives us a fairy tale.
I have been ask a fews time since the other day if there is a tutorial for this type of card. And the answer is no not that I am aware of. I winged it with this card. But I will see if I can't get one done for you. I have NEVER done one before so it could take me a bit of time. LOL... THANK YOU FOR STOPPING BY TODAY!!! OH OH OH YES one more question......... Are any of you have blogger issues?? I have been unable to get into my blogger since yesterday morning until now and I only have about half of the normal functions available to use. :o(
