"CLICK" PLUS GDT Announcement
It's Janiel and Lynda here today sharing the post with the same cute little image....
I simply swapped out the cardboard cover from inside the sleeve, and replaced it with my own.
JANIEL (Me) on my blog.
Seriously, we didn't know that we would BOTH create some sort of brag book, all we knew was that we both would use this darling image today...how funny is it that our minds worked like this?
which showcases the many talents of our super design team.
*Beep* Beep* Beep*
Attention Please!!!
A quick announcement here!
The Digi Bells next Guest Design team has been chosen!!!
I tell you, the ladies who entered certainly did not make it easy for us to decide.
Talk about some serious battling back and forth... It was almost going to end up being
a coin toss in the end...(Just kidding) But.... My Oh My... You know it's hard when
I end up calling my husband to come and try to help narrow things down.
Needless to say he wasn't that much help.
I wish we could choose SEVERAL GDT girls,
Please know that if you were not chosen this time around, we definitely want you to try again next time. We have seen so much talent, and choosing was the hardest thing to do.
Please Welcome our Next GDT for
February, March, and April

FROSTY THE SNOWMAN.........
"Thumpety Thump Thump, Look At Frosty Go...."
OOOPS - You've caught me singing! I just couldn't help myself.
It's that time of year again. The holidays ALWAYS tend to cause me to sing, whistle, or hum when I'm creating.
Janiel and I have decided to share a little bit of Elisabeth Bell's version of "Frosty The Snowman" with all of you today. I remember last holiday season when Elisabeth was designing this darling digi. Did you know that this was combination of both Janiel, and my ideas?
So it's only suitable that we both used "Frosty The Snowman" to each create something different for you today.
You can of course find this darling digi in Elisabeth Bell's Digital Collection.
Here is what JANIEL created! WOWEE isn't this gorgeous???

While Janiel has created that gorgeous card, so beautifully embellished. I have decided to create something other than a card. Yes Yes, it always seems that I'm doing that, doesn't it?
I just couldn't help myself.
I really thought that this digital image would look beautiful centered on a tray.
You can find more details about this on my blog.
We love the company! =)

CURLY LOCKS KIKI as a pin cushion...
I had a very hard time doing the photos of this.
I have printed the image out on heavy weave muslin and colored with my copic markers. Coloring on muslin is not the same as coloring on tee shirt fabric and NOT ANYTHING like papers. The colors run fast so you have to work quick and then let it dry out some before you finish. I thought this image would be so much fun to do up as a pin cushion/needle holder to sit on the end table next to my recliner in the family room. As I am always stitching on my quilt tops if I am watching TV. So I have taken some small scraps of fabric and sewn them together and sewn cotton lace on the outside edge. I have also sewn cotton lace with a Black and white stripe ribbon over the top of it across the midde and added a bow on the right side. I did add a paper rose and a string of pearls. The image is sewn on the top of the fabric like a pocket with the top open so that I can put my packages of needles and my embrodoidery scissors down inside of it. I have stuffed my little pin cushion with crush walnut shells. Did you know that crushed walnut shells on the inside of pin cushions will help keep your pins and needles sharp?
The top left corner has a felt flower with ribbon, bakers string and a pearl. As you can see there is plenty of room for your embroidery needles and sissors in the pocket. I have hat pins, quilters pins, safety pins and needles stuck all round the pin cushion.
Lots of room for all of the things that I use while stitiching.
Just below is a photo of it laying flat. But still not a great photo. Just can't see all of the little fun details in the photos. So much more fun to hold. :o)
Reminder: You have until Friday July 1 to make a card following the sketch posted at the top of the page YOU COULD WIN THIS DIGI....CURLY LOCKS KIKIThanks for stopping by today!
I hope you are staying cool where ever you are.

Designer Purse Gift Bag
PATI'S KISSES
by Elisabeth Bell and can be found and bought from the Elisabeth Bell Digial Gallery.

I have put the Pati's Kisses on a chipboad tag that I had on a NEW PAIR OF JEANS that I bought a while back. LOL... Now don't laugh but these little tags come in such fun shapes and a so cool to use with your cards and scrapbook pages.
I have colored my image with my copic markers.
I pulled out my score-pal got to busy making this little gift bag.
I had no pattern so I had to draw the purse out on a scratch paper and go from there.
In the last photo you will see the depth of the purse and just where and how I used my score-pal to make the little box that sits inside the front and back flaps.
Papers I have used are:
MME, My Little Shoe Box, Bazzill Cardstock and one unknown paper
Embellies: fun little heart bards as hardware on the handles, silver domes on the flap of the cute little pocket, heart button as the flap closer, silver chain to hang my little tag from and of course some ribbon and paper flowers.

I have inked all of the edges of my little purse with distressed inks and I have used my oval Spellbinders for the pocket flap.

Distressed inks and Spellbinders can be purchased from Michelle at Michelle's Scrapbooking and more.
Okay so now that I am looking at this photo.. It's a tad hard to see the score lines that I have on the little box inside. But I have them in the form of an upside down Y to the the little purse will not all straight up and down but bends in just a tad like a real purse would.
I think that is about it for me today..
On my way out the door to work..
HAVE A FAB DAY!!!
HUGS, Janiel

Love Gives Us a Fariytale......
Good morning all of my cyber friends... Today I have a another many folders card to show you! I had a blast making this one!! But I think that it just may be to much! LOL.. Please let me know what you think.. It was a tad hard to pick papers and such for these beautiful images done this way.
Do you think that Edwin has found a NEW Princess?? LOL.....
As you can see on the first layer is where I have all of the images and I have added an awning over the top of the window for the 3-d effect. I used one of my MS punchs for the edge. I have colored all images with my copic markers and used Ranger Inks on the edges of the layers. I have added Spica and stickles to make my image sparkle in some places. Now let's talk about layers and layers and more layers!!! I have used Prima Inc papers along with Graphic 45, Reminisce, October Afternoon and Bazzill cardstocks. As for embellies I have only used brass brads and 2 photo corners and a little locket and key. Now if you go back up and look at the first picture you will see that I have the photo corners holding my first layer closed. On the back side of that image layer I have a stamp the says. Once in a while, right in the middle of an ordinary life LOVE gives us a fairy tale.

PARASOL
It can be found in the Elisabeth Bell Designs Digital Collection.
When I see this image I think that it could be used for so many different types of cards.
Like maybe..Easter, Spring, baby, friendship and then I did mine a sympathy.
I have done my card today a bit different for me.. Simple!!! and I tell you that is VERY hard for me to do!! LOL.. I am one that just has to keep messing until the details are worked to death.. LOL. I have popped the different layers for that 3D look. I know you can't see it in the photo very well as the photo is NOT SO GREAT at all!! And for the last thing I used my Armada corner punch.
Colored my image with my copic markers.
