A Sewing Basket with Valou and "Curly Locks Kiki"

Hello all Elisabeth Bell friends!

Today it's Valou sharing a new creation with you.

This is my realization on images:

I used some paper "Bazzil Carstock Prune", some paper "Bazzil Cardstock Pink" and papers "Pion Design", collection "My Precious Daughter". The printed papers are inked to the ink "Distress Walnut Stain".

Branches are maintained with pink brads " Making Memories ".

I used a digistamp " Elisabeth Bells", "Curly Locks Kiki".

I colorized it in the following way: 

-Ink Distress Tattered Rose "and "Distress Vintage Photo" for the skin.
-Antique ink Distress Linen "and" Distress Brushed Corduroy "for hair.
-Ink "Distress Picked Raspberry".
-Ink "Distress Frayed Burlap".
-Ink "Distress Peacock Feathers".
-Ink "Distress Seedless Protect".
-Ink "Distress Squeezed Lemonade".
-Ink "Distress Barn Door".
-Ink "Distress Mowed Lawn".
-Ink "Distress Ripe Persimon".

I then cut it and stuck on my basket with pieces of "Foam Tape".



Then, I added a cloth white flower, a turquoise blue "Lilidaft", a lilac "Lilidaft", a knot realized with the ribbon " pink Organza ", the white rose (20 mm) and an embroidered butterfly.



On the compartments of the top, I stuck knots realized with the ribbon " pink Organza ", the white and mauve roses (20 mm), a small frame which I realized with a mold "Martha Stewart" and some dough in self-hardening moder, as well as a die-cut "Butterfly" realized with a dies " Noor! Design ".

Hi there!  Happy Monday!  It's Carla here and it's my turn to post some inspiration for you.  My card today features the adorable Curly Locks Kiki from the Elisabeth Bell Digital Collection.  She looks so sweet sitting with her stitching!

 

 

I colored Kiki with my Copics.  I added some pretty papers with a sewing theme, as well as some ribbon, lace and pearls.  More details are on my blog HERE.

I Love Me Some Stitching . . .

Hey everyone!  It's Susan and I just wanted to share my sweet Curly Locks Kiki from Elisabeth Bell's Digital Collection with you and share that my first venture into the creative world was sewing and making my own doll clothes for my, well I won't tell you what doll because that would give my age away!  Let's just say that I sewed a lot by hand and on my Grandma's Singer push pedal machine!

This cutie is colored with copics and has some stickles and hand made flowers on her.  You can stop by my blog and see all the details.  I can't wait until tomorrow to see what one of my other Digi Bell sisters has in store for you!

Good morning!  Happy New Year!  It's Carla here and today, it's my turn to post my GDT project on The Digi Bells blog.

Curly Locks Kiki!!

Hi Everyone!

Its Pami here again with some more inspiration using another gorgeous image from the Elisabeth Bell digital gallery!  Today I have picked Curly Locks Kiki!  I love her name!  Here is my card:

Isn't she just gorgeous!  She reminds me of when I used to cross stitch, although I wasn't that pretty whilst I was doing it!!  I coloured her with a mixture of copics and prisma pencils and the paper is from Maja Design called Life in the Country.

I decided to keep this card nice and simple, using papers from my stash and just adding a doily, some lace and two Mother of Pearl Buttons for embellishment.

Eine Holzbox habe ich für Euch, die einer lieben Bastelfreundin als Aufbewahrung für ihre Bänder dient. Es ist eine umgebaute Teebox, die ich im Euroladen günstig bekam. 

Schnell Sushistäbchen an den Innenseiten angebracht, das Lochbrett aus dem Baumarkt draufgelegt und fertig ist die Box. 

Gepimpt habe ich sie mit dem supertollen Motiv Curly locks Kiki von Elisabeth Bell´s collection . Weitere wunderschöne Digis von ihr kannst Du HIER kaufen.

Curly Locks Kiki

I made a card using Curly Locks Kiki today.  She was colored with Copics and cut out. Blue gingham DP is from Memory Box. For the background, I stamped quilt blocks on colored cs. Hand sewn edges. Card size is 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".

Eine Holzbox habe ich für Euch, die mir als Aufbewahrung für meine Bänder dient. Im Bastelladen bekam ich sie günstig und danach gings ab in den Baumarkt für den Lochbrett-Zuschnitt (0,32 Euro) *lol*

Schnell Sushistäbchen an den Innenseiten angebracht, das Lochbrett draufgelegt  und fertig ist die Box. Für nicht mal 6 Euro :-)

Soft Lines Curly Locks Kiki

Hello everyone and hope that you’re having a good week so far. This is Michele here and today I’d like to show you a card that I’ve made using the gorgeous Curly Locks Kiki.

After seeing so many coloured images on facebook using the no lines technique I thought that I would give this one a try. As I don’t have light shades of ink and was desperate to try this new technique, I thought that I would try it on a digi image.

To achieve the no lines look on the above image, I set the transparency setting to 10% in Photoshop. It was quite daunting when I first started to colour as I had to really think about where the shadows would be. The was my first attempt at this and I’m quite pleased with the result and would love to know what you think (please be kind :0) )

CURLY LOCKS KIKI as a pin cushion...

Happy Wednesday everyone!!

Well I am here to tell you that it is HOT HOT HOT!!

118 degrees the last two days!!

I am melting!!

You know when you really don't feel good to start with and have that kind of heat it is just plain YUCKY YUCK!!

I hope it is cooler where ever you are!

Today I have a little pin cushion to show you using ...

CURLY LOCKS KIKI

I had a very hard time doing the photos of this.

It is so very fun and cute in real life.

Photos don't do it justice!

I have printed the image out on heavy weave muslin and colored with my copic markers. Coloring on muslin is not the same as coloring on tee shirt fabric and NOT ANYTHING like papers. The colors run fast so you have to work quick and then let it dry out some before you finish. I thought this image would be so much fun to do up as a pin cushion/needle holder to sit on the end table next to my recliner in the family room. As I am always stitching on my quilt tops if I am watching TV. So I have taken some small scraps of fabric and sewn them together and sewn cotton lace on the outside edge. I have also sewn cotton lace with a Black and white stripe ribbon over the top of it across the midde and added a bow on the right side. I did add a paper rose and a string of pearls. The image is sewn on the top of the fabric like a pocket with the top open so that I can put my packages of needles and my embrodoidery scissors down inside of it. I have stuffed my little pin cushion with crush walnut shells. Did you know that crushed walnut shells on the inside of pin cushions will help keep your pins and needles sharp? The top left corner has a felt flower with ribbon, bakers string and a pearl.
As you can see there is plenty of room for your embroidery needles and sissors in the pocket. I have hat pins, quilters pins, safety pins and needles stuck all round the pin cushion.
Lots of room for all of the things that I use while stitiching.
Just below is a photo of it laying flat. But still not a great photo. Just can't see all of the little fun details in the photos. So much more fun to hold. :o)
