Hello and Happy Friday!
It's Christmas in July! have you made any of your holiday cards yet? there are so many cuties available in Elisabeth's digi shop, and if you subscribe to her newsletter, you just might find a few popping into your mailbox, too! :)
One of those freebies that showed up in my inbox was this adorable image, 'Christmas Curls.' isn't she precious with her little kitty?! since we have just rescued a cat here in our home, this one really struck a chord with me. in face my own kitty cat is sitting in his special bed right here on top of the desk beside me as I type this post! yes, he might just be a bit spoiled, but as a rescue, he has a right to be! :)
this is my last post here on the blog as a guest designer, and I have had such a lovely time! thank you to everyone for the kind comments you have left for me! feel free to pop by my blog, "Just Coffee Please...." any time you would like a cup of the coffee of the day!
have a great weekend! :)

You are My Happy Place!
Hello to all of you lovely Bells!
I hope you are having a most beautiful week so far. :) the card I'm sharing with all of you today is guaranteed to bring a spot of sunshine and smiles into your day! why, you ask? well it has an image by Elisabeth Bell, of course! don't her images always make you smile?!
I'm using "I Love You This Much" along with a few fun dies, some happy designer papers, and a great stitching stamp. a friend needs a bit of cheering up, so I knew this adorable image would certainly do the trick!
here is a reminder that YOU are indeed a special person, too, and bring sunshine into the lives of those around you. :)
head over to my blog, "Just Coffee Please..." if you would like more details about the card.

The Joy of Discovery
Happy Monday to all of you lovely folks!
What better way to begin the week than with a fun project showcasing one of Elisabeth's precious images featuring these adorable children!
did you every catch fireflies as a child? did you ever watch them in awe and wonder as they lit up the evening sky? as the July 4th holiday draws ever nearer here in the USA, I thought to myself how God has provided the most beautiful natural fireworks to us each summer evening to delight our inner childlike spirit. :)
My card uses the digital image 'Fireflies', printed onto watercolor paper so I could create a fun evening sky with re-inkers and watercolor brushes. glimmer mist accents create the lovely sparkle.
for more details, feel free to head to my blog, "Just Coffee Please..."
don't forget to join the Digi Bells challenge, too! :)

Missing You Peeker
Hello and Happy Monday!
It's Jennifer with a card to hopefully inspire you to head straight to your craft room! :)
as I've mentioned in my earlier Guest Designer posts, being a subscriber to the newsletter & Creative eBook is a fabulous deal! every Friday, Elisabeth so very kindly sends out a free digi image, along with some fun info.
I was working on another project entirely when my Friday Freebie image arrived in my mailbox. I have to tell you, the tears started almost instantly. you see, the image is called 'Waiting for Daddy to Come Home Peeker.' she could have been drawn of me when I was a little girl! really! I'm getting all misty as I sit here typing....
every day I would sit by the window and wait for my Daddy to come home. I created a little game to help pass the time. it was just the 2 of us, as I was an only child. summers I would go stay with relatives, but when I knew he was coming to pick me up, I'd sit in front of that window for hours on end until his car came up the driveway.
this year it will be 24 years that my dad has been gone. I still miss him every day. each year I create a tribute card for him, so Elisabeth's timing couldn't have been more perfect.
Daddy, I'm still waiting by the window. and I'm still missing you.

Be Happy!
Hello, everyone! It's Jennifer here, and it's my first time posting on the blog since receiving the news that I was accepted as a Guest Designer with The Digi Bells! to say I'm tickled pink would be an understatement! :)
for those of you who've been around the blog for a while, you know that the first of the month, Elisabeth puts a cutie patootie from the shop on sale for $1 for a limited time. This month's sale digi was the precious 'Laundry Peeker' and I was lucky enough to grab her for the discounted price. of course you can still find her in the store, along with LOTS of fun friends you KNOW you want to add to your collection. :)
doesn't this little girl just make you smile so very big? I couldn't resist adding the sentiment, 'be happy' to the card just because of her overwhelming joy. don't you find it contagious?! :)
for more details about this card, head over to my blog, "Just Coffee Please..." and may your day be filled with lots of joy and happy, too! :) Jennifer
