Holiday Die Exchange Cards

Woooo Hoooo! It's Saturday!

So have all of you recovered from holiday and new year festivities? has life gotten back to whatever form of normal is at your house? hopefully it will at our home in the next few days. we have had company in and out ever since before Christmas. it's been wonderful seeing so many people, but I do confess it will be nice to have a bit less stressful environment again. ;)

The Digi Bells Design Team had a fun card and gift exchange over the holidays. Each of us created a card for one team member and then also sent a collection of dies. it was a wonderful treat to receive such a beautiful handmade card from one of our teammates and know that they had spent so much time creating it just for us. :)

I'm sharing with you both the card I made as well as the fabulous gift package I received. I sent my card to Alethea along with some fun dies I found from Whimsy Stamps. I also included one of Elisabeth's lovely rubber stamps, because at the time, Alethea had been having trouble with her printer. this way she would have a back-up anytime she wanted to use one of Elisabeth's wonderful images! :)

First up is the card I made. I used 'Sweet Country Christmas' and lots of fun holiday embellies. you can pop over to my blog, "Just Coffee Please...," for more detailed info about the card.

This is the GORGEOUS card and die assortment I received from the VERY talented, Lynda! isn't it fabulous??!!!? and I know that I will use these dies quite a bit on projects. :) she used the cutey 'Meadow Magic' image on the card she made for me.

I'll be back next week with a brand new project, so until then, enjoy your weekend!

A bit from Christmas Past....

Good Day to all of you.
It's Lynda here, with a little bit of festive fun to share....

Thank you for taking the time to stop by and visit us here on the Digi Bells blog.
We are beginning to have lots of fun sharing and posting some of our favorite creations. Whether they be current or from the past.
I have one today that I especially fell in love with.  You know how it goes when you decide you want to create something a little different, and you start to, with no "real plan" on how it will end up?
This was one of those times.  This fabby and fun creation is one that I made during the 2010 season.  WOW - That's 6 years ago... How can that be?  It seems like maybe last year or so..

A fun Holiday Shadow Box
Featuring Elisabeth Bell's Darling Stamp called
"Santa and Children Sleeping"
This was one of the Holiday Stamps that was released by Belles 'n Whistles.
Oh what fun Stamp releases they used to have.
I love the way this 3D Shadow Box turned out,
I felt like it was definitely worth sharing here today.
Other Elisabeth Bell Stamps that were used here were also from
Belles 'n Whistles.
The "Christmas Hearth" in the background as well as
"The little Christmas tree" on top of it.
"The little Gift", and "The Little Dog"
All of those accessories came from the different "Change-a-Belles" accessory sets.
Taking a closer look in the background.
The little "Picture on the wall" behind the big tree...
That just so happens to be another one of Elisabeth Bell's Darling Christmas images for Belles 'n Whistles. She is called "Rockin' Around" and still one of my all time favorites.

The little circular things on the top of the frame are little tea light candle holders.
I will never forget how long it took for the glue on that Christmas tree took to dry.
You can see it was not all the way dry in the photos.
That tree was made from a Martha Steward Rose Leaf punch.
That's a TON of Leaves.  LOL

Here is a close up of the inside.

I hope you've enjoyed visiting and taking a little trip back to 2010 with me here today.
Come back again tomorrow for some more FABULOUS Elisabeth Bell Inspiration.

Christmas Joy, Christmas Bells

In my opinion, it's never too early to be making Christmas cards! :) I make them all year long, in fact. and Elisabeth Bell has soooooooooooo many precious stamps and digital images to make card making all the more easy!

for today's post I'm using the adorable Christmas Bells digi combined with some great Prima digital papers, pretty mulberry flowers, ribbons, lace, and other beautiful embellies to make a holiday card anyone would love to have pop into their mailbox! of course a bit of glitter always helps to bring a bit of sparkle and shine to the the season, don't you think? ;)

if you would like more detailed information about the card, just head over to my blog, "Just Coffee Please..."  and don't forget to play along in our challenge, too!

Christmas Curls in July

Hello and Happy Friday!

It's Christmas in July! have you made any of your holiday cards yet? there are so many cuties available in Elisabeth's digi shop, and if you subscribe to her newsletter, you just might find a few popping into your mailbox, too! :)

One of those freebies that showed up in my inbox was this adorable image, 'Christmas Curls.' isn't she precious with her little kitty?! since we have just rescued a cat here in our home, this one really struck a chord with me. in face my own kitty cat is sitting in his special bed right here on top of the desk beside me as I type this post! yes, he might just be a bit spoiled, but as a rescue, he has a right to be! :)

this is my last post here on the blog as a guest designer, and I have had such a lovely time! thank you to everyone for the kind comments you have left for me! feel free to pop by my blog, "Just Coffee Please...." any time you would like a cup of the coffee of the day!

have a great weekend! :)
