Summer Daze

Good morning!  Happy Wednesday!  It's Carla here and it's my turn to post some inspiration for you here on the Digi Bells DT blog. 

 

My card today features the adorable Summer Daze from the Elisabeth Bell Digital Collection.

 

 

I colored the image with Copics and added a bit of glitter to the little fish and the flowers in her hair.  Lots of layers and a fun sun made from tulle trim and a button finished my card.  More details can be found on my blog HERE.

Summer Daze

Good Morning everyone, it's Carol from the Guest DT here and it's my turn to share a card on the blog featuring one of Elisabeth Bells wonderful digis. Today I've decided to feature Summer Daze:

I can imagine these two have so much fun fishing their summer days away. I wonder if they know what to do if they catch a fish. I remember when my little boy was four, my husband and I took him fishing and I caught a tiny little silver fish - I was quite excited, but my husband just told me "we were only going fishing, you weren't supposed to catch anything". Oh well, it was fun anyway.

Lazy Summer Days

"Summer Daze"

This is the first time I have actually colored my image without using my Copics.
Everything was colored and blended using Prisma Colored Pencils.
I can't say that I'm completely thrilled, but sometimes you just have to go out of your comfort zone.
Needless to say, I think I will stick to using Copics AND Prisma pencils.  ha ha

This month I passed my fisherman-exam in germany and now I´s me allowed to go fishing.

ich bin´s, Sebrina, und heute zeige ich Euch hier eine Inspiration. 

Nach Bestehen der Fischerprüfung brauche ich natürlich ein Fangbuch für die Statistik.

Und welches Motiv eignet sich dafür besser als "Summer daze" von Elisabeth Bells DigiCollection?

Sind die beiden Angler nicht super süss, wie sie in aller Seelenruhe in der schönen Natur sitzen, die Ruhe geniessen und dabei vielleicht auch noch ein leckeres Abendsessen mit nach Hause bringen werden? 
Ich freue mich auf jeden Fall schon auf nächsten Sommer, denn genau dann werde ich dies tun :-)

ich bin´s, Sebrina, und heute zeige ich Euch hier eine Inspiration. 

Letztens habe ich euch ein to-do-Buch gezeigt, was ich für meinen kleinen Freund Yannick gewerkelt habe. Yannik hat eine kleine Schwester und es geht ja gar nicht, dass nur einer von den beiden Süssen etwas bekommt. So setzte ich mich heute an den Basteltisch und zauberte dieses Büchlein für Zoe. 
Entschieden habe ich mich für das knuffige Motiv "Summer daze" von Elisabeth Bell´s Digi Collection.

Summer Daze for a friend!

Today I have made a card showcasing the cutie image Summer Daze, available in Elisabeth's Digital Gallery. This card I made for a friend of my youngest son who celebrated her fourth birthday a couple of weeks ago. I was so thrilled when I realised I had this image - perfect as she's also a bit of a tomboy who likes to play with boys.

I really am in LOVE LOVE LOVE with this image...maybe it is the true peacefullness I feel when coloring this.  Well I tried coloring darker skin and.....hmmmm not quite sure I like this.....I do need more practice  :)
